Love Letters to Myself
I was listening to a podcast recently that sparked some inspiration for me. It was episodes 268 and 269 of the We Can Do Hard Things podcast with Glennon Doyle, Abby Wombach, and Amanda Doyle. The guest for the two episodes was none other than the incredible Liz Gilbert, author of Eat Pray Love and my personal queen. She is so ethereal to me that if I were to ever meet her, I feel I would not be able to stand.
I very much encourage you to give those two episodes a listen. Liz Gilbert explains her process of writing love letters from Love itself. I have always been a big “write love letters to yourself” kinda gal, so I was entranced with this concept.
Today, take a minute to open your journal and write a letter to yourself. Get creative with it. Tell yourself how much you love her. Tell her how incredible she is. Fall in love through your words, it will change your life.
